Divisional Secretariat - Naula

A multicultural program organized by the Central Province Department of Cultural Affairs was successfully held recently at the Cultural Centre, with the participation of the Honorary Secretary of the Naula Sasanarakshaka Mandalaya, the Divisional Secretary, the Assistant Divisional Secretary, the Officer-in-Charge of the Cultural Centre, retired Cultural Officer Mr. Somasiri, as well as artists, literary figures, art enthusiasts, and others.

A tree planting program and community awareness program on invasive plants was held to coincide with the 74th Independence Day.

In conjunction with the 74th National Independence Day on 2022.02.04 Naula Divisional Secretariat conducted a tree planting program near Audella Amuna with the participation of Naula Divisional Secretary, Naula Police Station officers and local residents.

In the plantation program, Kumbuk saplings, Mee saplings and arecanut  saplings were added to the environment, and the total number of saplings planted there was 1290. The Environment Officer also conducted community awareness about invasive plants.
