Issuing excise licenses
Required Documents
- Letter of approval from the Excise Department
- Approval from the Inland Revenue Department
After receiving the above approval letters from the relevant licenses,
the relevant license fee will be charged and the relevant license will be issued for the year with the approval of the Divisional Secretary.
Mowing Kitul trees
- Individual request
- Deed of the land
- Certificate of Residence
- Copy of National Identity Card
If someone else is rubbing the trees, their national identity card and information (All the above documents should be submitted to the Matale Excise Department.)
Approval by the Excise Department is sent to the Divisional Secretariat.
The Grama Niladhari report of the division is obtained in this regard and based on that report the relevant fee is charged and the license is issued for one year.
