For new retiree
Bring certified copies of the following letters to the office to verify the information provided by the Department of Pensions and the information contained in the file.
- Proof of Residence Letter
- Copy of National Identity Card
- A copy of the bank account book (account should not be a shared one)
Applying for Widows' and Orphans' Pension
- Completed Widow Orphans Application
- Original copy of the donor's death certificate
- Original Marriage Certificate of Widow / Widower Pension Applicants
- Divorce certificate proving that the first marriage has been annulled if a second marriage has taken place.
- Original birth certificate of widow / widower.
- If you have children under 26, original copies of their birth certificates.
- Photocopy of Widow Orphan Pension Card and Widow Orphan Number
- Passport size 02 color photographs of the widow / widower.
- If there is any change in the names mentioned in the widow / widower's birth certificate, national identity card and marriage certificate, affidavit submitted in this regard
Applying for a retired railway license
- Complete the Form PD 07 and register with the Pensions Division of the Divisional Secretariat.
- If you are a retiree who has completed Form PD 07 and is registered with the Divisional Secretariat
- (You can go to the main railway station and present your retirement identity card and receive the train license)
